Occasional marginal annotations with additions of missing text: for example f.16v marginal addition of a single word "me"; f.33r addition of a full verse "ogni tuba celeste ogni p(ro)pheta"; f.37r addition of two verses "Dove si racce(n)dess'il dolce zelo / vole(n)do suscitar mio sdegno". Additional marginal annotations on ff.38v and 43v.
Gold dentelle initials on grounds of green, blue, and pink, 2-3 lines high: f.1r, 1v, 8v, 9r and 31r; white vine stem initial, f.35v; spaces for initials left blank, f.43v-48v; guide letters present, f.48, 56, and 60.

Collation: fol. ii + 85; 1⁸(-1) 2-3¹⁰ 4⁸ 5-9¹⁰; leaves signed in two alphabetical sequences; catchwords present (f.17v "abond"; f.27v "rai negl"; f.55v "cui telmen"; f.65v "nno per"; f.75v "ap salamonem"). Layout: ff.1r-43r written in 26 long lines; 43v-84v, in 27 long lines; beginning on the second ruled line throughout. Binding: In stamped calf, 15th century, panel decorated with a single stamp of a rope motif, repeated many times on front and back; two fore-edge clasps repaired. This binding possibly taken from another book; pastedowns are palimpsests of an unidentified Italian notrial text in humanistic script; fol. 69v, 81v-82r, etc., margins repaired with palimpsest fragments from a register written in Italian gothic textualis rotunda (writting visible only under ultraviolet light).
